Happy Pride Month! 🌈

I'm very happy to introduce this new series #Narunthogai, a trial that speaks the emotion filled 'agam' lifestyle of Queer. More like the Kurunthogai of the Sangam period, this series with depiction of scenes tries to portray the happy, longing, fun life of a healthy Queer household. I thank @flaws_in_flowers for helping with the English translation. This series is gonna be the same way Sangam literature is drafted. In the same prosody, with the same Thinai, thurai annexures dresses up the poem well. 

This first one is, 

திணை : மருதம் 
துறை : மணநாள் விழவினை தலைவியர் களித்தல் 

பச்சை அவட்குப் பளிச்சென அடிக்கும்
கச்சிதமாக பொருந்தும் எனக்கு!
மஞ்சள் தான்அம் மாநிறத் தாளைக்
கொஞ்சம் அழகு கூட்டிக் காட்டும்!
மேற்பார்வைக்குத் தெளிநிறம் அவட்கு!
பூப்போட்டதுதான் பிடிக்கும் எனக்கு!
பருத்தியில் நெய்ததே பக்குவம் அவட்கு!
பொருந்திடும் பட்டே எனக்கு விருப்பம்!
மேலும் அறிவாள் விழைவை அதனால்
மாலை முடித்த மணநாள் பரிசாய்
இருவர்க்கும் சேலை எடுத்தாள்
பெருகும் இனிபுகைப் படத்துடன் காதலே!!

Thurai : Wedding anniversary of Heroines

A saree, in green, might not suit her
But me, I guess 
A yellow saree would be the add on crown to that dusky skinned goddess
She likes it plain, I would go for florals
She goes for a cotton, I would just jump for a suitable silk
You know what, she knows this all
She bought us sarees,
A wedding anniversary gift 
Ah! Our love will flourish along with our countless pictures now
